I think I made it 4 days without going to the store last week. But I did end up stopping yesterday to pick up some fresh produce. I got the above for just $18.94. I have spent under $50 on groceries so far this month which I think is very good. I did pay a library fine yesterday ($9.30), buy an extra paper ($2) and order some of the Barilla pasta coupons on Ebay ($3.49). Those last 2 items will help in the long run and even though we are on a “No Spend Month” I do still have to think about the long run here. Which is why even though I have a freezer full of frozen fruit picked last summer we will not be eating it all this month. We will use some, in fact we had frozen blackberries this morning for breakfast, and even more than we might normally use – but we won’t use it all. I need what I have to last through til summer.
I am going to start a list of the things we decide we want/need this month and then come February will evaluate the list and see what we can take care of. I think #1 will be to buy more silverware that matches our pattern. I am down to 5 teaspoons now. Hopefully the list will help me avoid impulse purchases this month as well as helping us prioritize in the future. How are you doing this month?

Thanks for stopping by. I’m hoping to not deplete my freezer stores either!
