Grocery round up Oct 26th

I hit 2 stores this week. I think in order to keep my budget as low as I want it, that I will have to shop around more. On Friday I needed to pick up some things for a brunch at church, so I got in on the deals at that store. The picture on the left shows what I bought for $25.80.

gallon milk
1/2 OJ
peanuts
2 spaghetti sauce (donation)
loaf bread
sliced cheese
8 oz cheddar
cheese cubes
soy yogurt
3 lb tangerines
6 limes
4 pears
2 packs hotdogs

This morning I went to my regular grocery store and got the following for $25.44.

Breyers ice cream $1
gallon milk
poptarts $.90
2 boxes of teddy grahams
10 dannon yogurts
3 lbs chicken breasts
pack of lunch meat
24 oz bag of chocolate chips $3
4 apples
2 bananas
onion
2 cucumbers
organic carrots
2 tomatoes
hot dog buns

My total for the week is $51.24 - much better than last week. Here is what we are eating for dinner this week.

Sunday - spaghetti, corn and pickles

Wednesday - ham, brown rice, glazed carrots

Thursday - beef stew, mashed potatoes, peas, cranberry sauce
