Bargain Meal of the Week

The Giant Eagle ad for NE Ohio looks pretty similar to last weeks and in fact you could recreate the meal I suggested last week, by subbing GE baked beans for the Bush's beans.

There are some really good deals this week though.

• 4 dozen eggs for $3
• Cherries for $1.29 a pound
• Birds Eye steamfresh veggies $1 a bag

For this weeks meal though, breakfast for dinner sounds great to me.

1 dozen eggs scrambled - $.75
Hillshire Farms Kielbasa or Smoked Sausage b1g1 - should be about $2.50 for 1 lb - these would be yummy cut in quarters and grilled
1 lb cherries $1.29
salt, pepper, butter for the eggs $.25

Total cost for the meal - $4.79
