Bargain Meal of the Week

I have the Giant Eagle ad for NE Ohio here and it looks like a good one. Here are some of the best deals I see.

Eggs for $.78 a dozen
Capri suns are $2 each, but there are $1 off coupons for certain kinds that make this a good deal
Green beans for$1.59 a pound
Watermelon $3.99 each, I can't wait to get this!

For the bargain meal of the week, it is the start of grilling season and it is time for burgers. I don't like plain burgers and will usually mix in cracked pepper and minced garlic. Yum!

Ingredients

Ground beef - $1.99 a lb when you buy 3 lb pack
4 hamburger buns $.43
condiments $.25
veggies for burger (think lettuce, onions and tomatoes) I will guess $1, people use such different things and amounts
1 lb of fresh green beans $1.59

Total cost for dinner is $5.26.
